Carina Hopkins is a paralegal at Ross Scalise Beeler and Pillischer, a role she took in April 2024. Carina assists Partners Charles L. Scalise and Margo Pillischer with employment and Fair Labor Standards Act cases ranging from employment discrimination to unpaid overtime wage claims. Carina began her career as a paralegal 23 years ago, initially handling personal injury and workers’ compensation claims while earning her Associate of Arts Degree and Paralegal Certificate at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Over the years, she went on to work on not only personal injury and workers compensation cases, but also insurance defense, commercial litigation, catastrophic injury matters, oil and gas injuries, and Texas Prompt Pay matters before finally landing at Ross Scalise Beeler and Pillischer. Carina has handled all facets of the legal process from intake to trial, and finds no greater joy than assisting a client through what can be a most difficult time in their life. She is passionate about helping the “little guy” in a world full of unethical business practices.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Carina is a loving wife, sister, former foster parent, and friend. Carina and her husband have two dogs, Gizmo and Chewy, that they love taking on daily 3 mile walks. Carina truly believes in people helping people in their time of need. With Carina’s robust legal background and care and compassion for clients, Carina is dedicated to providing a unique and wonderful experience for all of her clients.
